Deploying SCCM 2012 Part 3 – Installing Prerequisites

In Part 1 we saw the installation of Active Directory Domain Services. In Part 2 we created the AD container and delegating the permissions on it. In this post we will install pre-requisites which are a must before you deploy SCCM 2012 successfully. Please install the prerequisites as per the order shown in the below screenshots.

Click on Server Manager, select the Features option and click on Add Features. Select .Net Framework 3.5.1 Features, click next.

IIS 6 Management Console
Click on Install and wait for few minutes to complete the Installation.
Install .Net Framework 4.0. The framework is available here :


The .Net Framework 4 setup is complete.


Installing BITS and Remote Differential Compression.

Launch the server manager, Select features and click in Add Features. Select BITS and Remote Differential Compression.


Click close to finish the feature setup wizard.
